St. Lorenz Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) invites you to join us for an exciting new year based on the theme,
“We Are the Starry Eyed”
We will search out wonder like our lives depend on it—because they do! We will strive to reestablish seeing all of the wonder that God has made in the every day.
“Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it… Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:2-3
We will remember that God is in charge and He has a plan for our lives! We will strive to worry less and hope and trust in God’s plans more.
“Even the darkness is not dark to you and the night is as bright as the day. Darkness and light are alike to You.” Psalm 139:12
We are responsible for each other. We will strive to take care of each other, to show love and kindness to one another. We will strive to see and share The Light.
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.” Genesis 1:1-5
Meetings include insightful speakers, devotion and prayer time, helpful demonstrations, small mom-to-mom discussion groups, creative activities, great food, and relaxing fellowship.
Daytime MOPS (which provides free childcare) usually meets two Friday mornings each month from 8:45 – 10:45 a.m. Evening MOPS usually meets the first Tuesday of each month beginning at 6:15 p.m. All area mothers who are expecting, and/or with children from birth through kindergarten are invited and encouraged to join us!
