Brass Choir Nordgermersleben
The brass choir Nordgermersleben is from Saxony-Anhalt, a region in eastern Germany founded after the German reunification in 1990.¬†
Celebrating the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, composers will be presented chronologically from the early baroque, baroque, classical and romantic eras.
The second half of the program includes German folk songs and hits that have spread on both sides of the Atlantic.

50th Anniversary of Our Casavant Organ
For such a landmark event as the 50th anniversary of the St. Lorenz organ we have invited Dr. John Schwandt, from the University of Oklahoma, to present a recital based on this instrument’s first recital in January 1968 by Dr. Paul Manz.
Dr. Schwandt is an acclaimed performer, recitalist, leader of hymn festivals, silent film accompanist, and organ consultant.

The English Anthem Project
From simple, sublime, unaccompanied motets to thrilling works for chorus, organ, and brass, this afternoon of music will lift your spirits and let your imagination soar as we tour of some of the most profound and glorious choral music ever written.
The St. Lorenz Choir, directed by Scott Hyslop, will be joined by Bay City’s Exultate Deo, directed by Robert Sabourin, and The Camerata Singers from the Midland Center for the Arts, directed by Matt Travis.
