Join us on Sunday, August 17, as we celebrate a major milestone—180 years of God’s faithfulness at St. Lorenz in Frankenmuth!
Before each worship service, we’ll honor our heritage with a special video tribute featuring photos of our original founders.
Following the 9:30 a.m. service, we’ll gather to place flowers on the graves of the St. Lorenz and Frankenmuth founders buried here on our grounds.
The Heritage Committee invites you to an open house from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the historic sites just across the street from church. Come explore:
- Our church museum
- The log cabin, a replica of our first parsonage
- The original bells from 1845
- And our old cemetery
Plus, don’t miss a special opportunity to learn about Native American history and traditions from Chippewa tribe member Michael Scott, who will be stationed at the Indian memorials.
Looking for a specific grave? A Find-A-Grave volunteer will be on hand to help you locate it.
High school student, Anthony Plana, plans to run 180 laps around the Sanctuary starting at 10am. Pledge your support which will benefit the church museum. You can even join him for a few laps!
