Hello, brothers and sisters in Christ at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church and School!
I am originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and was blessed to grow up in a family that was active in our local church. Beginning in sixth grade, I attended Lutheran schools, which played an important role in shaping both my faith and my desire to serve in ministry. I completed my undergraduate studies at Concordia University Wisconsin, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Theology in 2022. After graduation, I continued my studies at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis.
As part of my seminary education, I served my vicarage year at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and School in Oviedo, Florida. During that year, I met my now-wife, Ashley, who was attending Barry University School of Law in Orlando. I thank God every day for His gracious provision in bringing us together, and I am incredibly grateful for Ashley’s love, encouragement, and unwavering support.
Ashley and I were married in a small ceremony before my ordination, and we are looking forward to celebrating with our family and friends at a larger reception in November. In our free time, we enjoy trying new restaurants, traveling, and going to the movies. Being from Wisconsin, I’m also a devoted fan of Wisconsin sports, especially the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Milwaukee Bucks.
One of my favorite Bible verses is 1 Corinthians 12:12: “For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.” I love how Paul reminds us that, although each of us has different gifts and callings, we are united as one body in Christ. Seeing God’s people faithfully use their unique gifts to serve Him and one another is a constant source of encouragement to me and a beautiful reminder of the strength and blessing of Christian community.
Ashley and I are excited to see what the Lord has in store for us at St. Lorenz. We already feel so blessed to become part of this church family, and we are deeply grateful for your generosity, kind words, and prayers as we prepare for this new chapter. The Lord has already blessed us in so many ways, and we look forward to serving alongside you in the years ahead.
