At St. Lorenz, our mission is simple yet life-changing: to show others how beautiful it is to live with Jesus! Through our school ministry, we prepare students to grow as disciples, grounded in God’s Word and ready for the opportunities and challenges ahead.
Together We Build will allow us to continue offering the very best in Christ-centered education — with strong academics, enriching specials like art, music, and technology, and a nurturing environment where faith is woven into every subject. These improvements will help us prepare students not only for continued education, but for a lifetime of service and discipleship.
We are preparing for a congregational vote on October 24 and 25, 2026, to decide whether to proceed with construction. If approved, construction would begin in November 2026, with completion projected for December 2027. Please review this document which includes a project summary and ballot information.
Voting will take place before and after each worship service that weekend. All members age 18 and older are eligible to vote. Please review the materials on this page to learn more about the project and make plans to participate in this important decision.
If you cannot vote in person, paper absentee ballots will be available at the Church Office beginning October 19 and must be returned by 4 PM on Friday, October 23. If you are also unable to obtain a paper absentee ballot, you may request a digital ballot. You will receive an email with a unique link to complete your ballot; please allow 24–48 hours for the email to arrive. Digital ballots must also be submitted by 4 PM on Friday, October 23. No late submissions will be accepted.

A secure new main entrance and redesigned office space will improve access and safety.
Plan for four new classrooms to be added: three for 1st grade and one Maker Space room for all elementary students to engage in creative, hands-on learning. Also includes a new preschool room and a new family bathroom in the Early Childhood wing.
A new multi-use classroom and a STEM lab will be added to the middle school wing.
Additional office spaces for our leaders and expanded spaces to support our maintenance and custodial equipment.

Pledges were initially collected in October 2025, and additional pledges will be accepted through December 31, 2026. You may begin giving toward your pledge at any time. Gifts are also welcome at any time, whether or not you have made a pledge.
The campaign giving period will cover three years—2026, 2027, and 2028.
