MUSIC MINISTRIES
Adult Choirs
Mixed Choir, Treble Choir, and Men's Chorus
The various choirs at St. Lorenz exist to serve God through music ministry. Choir members find great joy in bringing the Word of God to the congregation and in leading the congregation in worship and praise. It holds two functions: to preach the Word through the words of our psalms and anthems, and to lead the congregation in worship and praise to the Triune God. The members are uplifted through their participation.

Wind Ensemble
The function of the St. Lorenz instrumental ensemble is to enliven and enrich the corporate worship of God in the assembly of believers gathered at St. Lorenz. Goals of the instrumental ensemble include supporting congregational singing and adding interest, variety, and color to congregational worship. Through their playing, the ensemble seeks to effectively lead singing, to encourage the worshiper in their faith, and to offer praise and glory to God with a joyful song. Working in harmony with other players, and in humble service to the church, ensemble members strive to faithfully use their God‑given talents with a spirit of dedication, self‑sacrifice and excellence. If you have experience playing a traditional band instrument and would like to join the wind ensemble email Michael Keller.
